On the concluding day of the 7th foundation day ceremony of Bastar University, State Minister for Higher Education who is also the Minister In-Charge for Bastar Prem Prakash Pandey said that nonviolence is extremely essential for the world peace.
The people could fulfil their desires by moving ahead on the path of nonviolence, he said while addressing a programme organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) here.
The programme was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of Bastar University, Professor N D R Chandra.
The Vice Chancellor in his address appealed the students to follow Mahatma Gandhi’s nature of simplicity and his teachings of non violence.
On the occasion, the Officer In-charge of Dr Vijay Baghel while presenting his report, informed about the objectives of NSS.
