Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday laid the foundation of City Bus Depot and Terminal proposed to be constructed at a cost of Rs97 lakh at a function organised at State High School here on Monday. In his address at the function, Singh said that the State Government has taken numerous initiatives for the welfare and overall development of the women in the State.
He said that the ‘Noni Suraksha Yojana’ had been launched to keep a check on the child marriages. Singh, on the occasion, also felicitated Deepti Gote for being selected as Deputy Collector in the year 2011 besides Geeta Waadhwani as DSP and Trupti Bhardwaj, who secured first position in the examination of Subedar in the State besides National netball player Madhuri Paal and Woman Hockey player Renuka Yadav. MP Abhishek Singh was present on the occasion.
