The nomination papers of candidates fighting for the posts of Mayor and Corporators of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC), will be received at Collectorate, Raipur, from December 8 to 15 from 10 am till 3 pm, officials said on Saturday.
The scrutiny of papers will be held on December 16 and the nominations can be withdrawn by December 19 up to 3 pm, District Collector Thakur Ram Singh and Returning Officers (RO) informed.
Collector and Returning Officer Thakur Ram Singh will accept the nomination for the post of Mayor here at collectorate. A total of eight Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) have been appointed for receiving nomination for candidates aspiring for the post of corporators.
Candidates contesting for ward number 15, 17, 37, 39, 41, 57, 58 and 59 can file their nominations with Chief Executive Officer, Raipur Zila Panchayat, Kiran Kaushal who would be available sit in the Room No.4. Similarly Deputy Commissioner NK Bhattar will receive nomination in the room no.7 from the candidates of Ward number 4 to 11.
likewise Additional Collector Bharat lal Banjare will receive nomination of Ward number 1 to 3, 12 to 14 and 19 and 17 in the room number 9. Joint Collector SK Agrawal will collect nominations of Ward number 50 to 54, 56, 62, 63 and 64 in room no 11. Additional Collector Mahadeo Kaware will collect nomination of candidates from Ward number 20 to 27, 29, 35 and room no. 12.
RMC Commissioner Avnish Sharan will receive nomination forms from the candidates of Ward no. 36, 40, 43, 45 to 49 and 55 in room no. 17. Deputy Collector Neha Kapur will receive nomination from the candidates of Ward no. 28, 30 to 34, 42, and 44 in the room no.18, and Deputy Collector Shiv Banerjee will receive nominations from the candidates of Ward no. 16, 60, 61, 65 to 69 in the room number 21.
