Claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was strong in Chhattisgarh and was going to form Government for the fourth consecutive term, the National General Secretary of the party Kailash Vijayvargiya said on Tuesday that there was no threat to the party from either the Congress or Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) in the upcoming Assembly polls in the State.

Vijayvargiya, while talking to media persons after reviewing the organisational activities at the party’s executive body meeting held here on Tuesday afternoon, appreciated development works done by the ruling BJP Government in the State.

“It (BJP) has done work for each and every section of the society and a positive result of it would be observed during the upcoming elections”, he said.

Regarding criticism of opposition on development, Vijayvargiya said “it was the duty of opposition to oppose and I have no words to comment on it”.

Talking about the organisational meeting of the party, Vijayvargiya said it was being held in a bid to associate the workers with the ideology of a political party which was largest all over the world having more than 11 crore members.

The organisation also reviews the works of Government and takes feedback by touring all over the state whether the benefits of the Government schemes are reaching to citizens or not, he said.
