Prohibition Minister Amar Agrawal informed Chhattisagrh Assembly on Friday that there is no target set for sale of country and foreign liquor for financial year 2017-18.
In a written reply to Congress member laljit Singh Rathia, the Minister informed that from 2017 till January 2018, 49,65,72452 proof litres of country liquor and 20512768 proof litres of foreign liquor and 12432362 proof litres of foreign malt liquor was sold.
During the period, the government received revenue of Rs 3173.49 crores, he said.
