Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punnulal Mohle on Wednesday informed Chhattisgarh Assembly that there is no system of fixing of targets for paddy procurement in the State.
In a written reply to Congress member T S Singhdeo, the Minister informed that during Kharif season 2014-15, the paddy procurement stood at 63,10,424 metric tonnes while in 2015-16 it was 59,29,232 metric tonnes and in 2016-17 it stood at 69,58,547 metric tonnes.
