Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Punnulal Mohle informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly on Tuesday that no paddy stock was damaged due to rain during the 2014-15 Kharif season.
In a written reply to Cong member Bhupesh Baghel, the Minister said that MARKFED and the Co-operative societies spent Rs 21.77 crore and Rs 42.60 lakh respectively to purchase cap cover to protect the paddy stock from damage.
