No internal bickering in BJP: JP Nadda

Published on:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and in-charge of Chhattisgarh JP Nadda said on Sunday that there was no internal bickering in the party and ‘all are working together as a family’.

‘There is no rebellion in the party and we are capable of sitting together and resolving all issues,’ he said in a statement issued here.

On the resignation of senior BJP Karuna Shukla who is also niece of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee,  Nadda said that she (Karuna Shukla) is party’s respectable leader and ‘we have full faith that she will understand the circumstances and all party workers  by working together would ensure victory for the BJP with a thumping majority and open a new chapter of development in Chhattisgarh’.

It was learnt that Shukla was also upset over being denied a ticket to contest the Assembly polls from Beltara seat in Bilaspur district  and was also not part of the State BJP’s Core Group comprising all senior leaders in Chhattisgarh.
