Now a two-wheeler rider will not be able to get fuel from a petrol pump without the rider wearing helmet in Raipur city.
Collector Thakur Ram Singh while releasing an order in this regard instructed the petrol pump owners to sell fuel to only those two-wheeler riders wearing helmet.
The order was passed under the relevant sections of Chhattisgarh Motor Spirit and High-speed Diesel Oil (licensing and Control) Order 1980.
Notably, a similar order was released by Dhamtari Collector Bheem Singh on Saturday.
