No coordination between party and govt in Cong regime: Raman Singh

Published on:

During BJP rule, there was a good coordination between the organization and the        government but in Congress regime the differences between the party and the government cropped up within a short period, said BJP national vice president and former chief minister Raman Singh on Saturday.

Interacting with media during the party’s membership drive review meeting held at BJP state headquarters Kushabhau Thakre premises in capital city Raipur, he further said party will cross the target of 11 lakh    memberships as “we have already reached near the target. There are 10 more days remaining for the drive both through paper and mobile phone. After which active membership drive will be also started for the party.”

Singh said rich tributes were paid to Sushma Swaraj, the leader who is placed in the heart of every party worker. He said it is the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, who deserve credit for repeal for Article 370 and 35A. It will benefit the people of Kashmir and Ladakh. He claimed that earlier Kashmiri girl was denied citizenship after marrying anyone from outside the state even though their       citizenship remained intact after marrying Pakistani national.

Now, these barriers have been removed. Bhupesh Baghel may have reservation on the issue but others in the state have welcomed the move.

Commenting on Bhupesh Baghel’s comment on membership drive, he said, “The BJP won the Lok Sabha elections with 51% votes. Why Congress lost votes in Patan and BJP won with record margin in Durg. It is the leadership of Modi and Amit Shah that got support of the people.”
