The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) on Thursday made it clear that no absentee candidate was selected for the interview list of the exam for Assistant Professor.
The complaint that an absentee candidate was selected for the interview, purposely declaring 105 questions null and void and selecting 88 students from one examination centre in Durg are completely baseless, a press release from CGPSC said.
Of the 2,450 questions, nullifying 105 questions can be due to a number of reasons which is a constant process, CGPSC said.
Between November 5 and 8, 2020, the written exam for the post of Assistant Professor, Hindi (AP), was held. Later, an aspirant, Virendra Patel, made a written complaint that a candidate not present in the examination was selected for the interview.
On February 1, 2020, the centre in-charge and invigilators were summoned and it was found that the candidate selected was not the one who sat just behind Patel as claimed by him but the third after Patel, CGPSC said.
