Nine employees at the Chhattisgarh Directorate building Mahanadi Bhawan in Nava Raipur were fined for not wearing mask, the government said on Wednesday.
The fine was imposed after the employees were found flouting Covid protocol including mandatory mask and social distancing.
They were warned not to repeat the mistake, failing which they could face severe action. Covid protocols are strictly followed in Mantralaya and no one is allowed to enter the building without a mask, an official press release said.
