‘local women unite to develop Nannadol’
Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik has said that the development of Nannadol had taken place due to the unit and organizing ability of the local women. He was speaking at a programme organised by Mahila Jan Jagran Samiti at Mannadol.
Kaushik said that previously there was a reign of terror unleashed by the anti-social elements and the drunker people but on account of women realising their power and their unity and organising ability have turned Nannadol into a beautiful and peaceful city.
Nagar Suraj Abhiyan
District Collector Ramsingh has directed officials to carry out quality work in redressal of applications filed by the applicants under the Nagar Suraj Abhiyan. The Collector issued the directives while reviewing the online system of redressal of complaints of the applicants at a review meeting held at the District Collectorate. He said that the disposal of applications should not be taken lightly and serious efforts must be made towards solving the problem of the general public to their satisfaction.
deluge of Applications received
A total of 53,516 applications were received from the citizens during the Nagar Suraj Abhiyan during 2012 in which 52,327 were on demands made and the rest 1189 pertained to complaints in the district. A total of 38,313 appliactions have been disposed off so far with the redressal of the problems. The officials in the meeting informed that 71 per cent of the applications had been disposed of
so far.
Mobile medical unit treats patients
A total of 8,370 patients have been treated by the mobile medical unit under Chief Minister Urban Health Programme in
Bilaspur city during the past four months. Nodal Officer of the Programme informed that the the service started in November 2012 had the mobile unit going to various wards for offering treatment to the patients.
