Keeping in view deficient rainfall in many parts of the State, the Chhattisgarh Power Distribution Company ltd (CSPDCl) has commenced installation of new transformer while repairing faulty ones.
The objective of the drive is to ensure irrigation pumps remain energised for use by farmers in the State, officials stated.
In this series, a 63 KVA failed transformer was replaced with a new one at Mohda village of Bilha Development Block by the company.
The transformer was wheeled to the farm land with immense difficulty, officials stated.
