New students undergo orientation at IIM Raipur

Published on:

The second day of four day orientation programme at IIM Raipur on Friday was filled with fun, frolic and games. The freshers were engaged in a host of outbound activities. These outbound activities in this model are developed to address the major task of assimilating the new energy, fresh intellect and rich diversity of cultures that freshers bring in the campus.

Some very interesting tasks were given to the participants like they were blind folded and asked to fall in any direction with blind faith that their teammates will not let them fall. This turned out to be a valuable lesson on keeping trust and building relationships.

The students of the new batch had their first taste of team building and leadership through these games, which is an integral part of a B-School. The activities were richly laced with fun and laughter and the new batch had a lasting first impression about their institution and of their friends-to-be.

The students eagerly look forward to another day filled with stimualting activities and learning. ARMADA: Simulation games, a talk on ‘Values and Ethics in Professional life’ by Swami Vyomapada Das ji (ISKON), and Fire Walk are the highlights for tomorrow.
