The second wave of Covid-19 is stabilizing in Chhattisgarh but there is an urgent need to overcome the hesitation among some sections on the issue of vaccinization, the government said on Wednesday. Harsha Puranik, Joint Director (PR), told the media that 1.2 percent Covid positivity rate was recorded till Tuesday with 482 positive cases detected across the state. She urged everyone to continue with the Covid appropriate behaviour. On Tuesday, 1.09 lakh vaccine doses were administered through 2,653 centres, she said. This took the total vaccine administered in the state to 78.14 lakh doses. The state has a stock of 18.40 lakh vaccine doses.
