Talent and efficiency of differently-abled children are no less than others; it only needs to be refined with education and training,” said Chief Minister Raman Singh.

On the occasion of World Disability Day, differently-abled children from various organizations met the Chief Minister at his official residence in Raipur on Thursday.

In a motivational address to these children, the Chief Minister said two visually-impaired youths have created history in the country by clearing Indian Administrative Service (IAS) examination and presently, the youths are working as Collector and Secretary Rank officer.

If a child decides and dedicatedly works, no goal is impossible, said Singh and wished them a bright future ahead.

Notably, the entire address of Singh was translated for hearing-speech impaired children by an Instructor in a sign language.

On the occasion, differently-abled children presented astonishing cultural performances at the Chief Minister’s residence. Moreover, these children also presented a demonstration for saving water while undertaking cleaning tasks.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister felicitated Satish Nagre, Teacher (sign language) Dipti Rane and Instructor Ajay Gupta of Mumbai-based organization for providing skill development training to these different-abled children.

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Rajesh Munat and Parliamentary Secretary Motiram Chandravanshi were present on the occasion.
