In Chhattisgarh, 1,47,85,068 citizens aged above 18 years and 221,982 in the 15-18 age group have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
This is 75 percent and 14 percent of the vaccination target set for these two categories respectively.
A communiqué from the Health Department said a total of 1,95,89,893 citizens of 18 plus age group have been given the first dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine. This amounts to 100 percent vaccination to the eligible people.
Nearly 10,26,890 teenagers or 63 percent in the age group 15-18 have also been vaccinated with the first dose, it said.
Precaution doses (booster) have been given to as many as 2,88,583 health workers, frontline workers and citizens above 60 years of age, the statement said.
In total, 3,59,12,416 vaccines have been administered across the state till February 6 which includes the first dose, second dose and the precautionary dose.
