A total of 1,09,07,690 vaccine doses have been administered in Chhattisgarh till July 15 to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection.
Nearly 89.71 lakh people have received the first dose of the vaccine and 19.36 lakh have taken both the doses of the vaccine, an official communication said on Friday.
In Chhattisgarh, 3.08 lakh health workers, 3.16 lakh frontline workers, 49.96 lakh people aged above 45 years and 33.49 lakh citizens in the 18-44 age group have got the first dose. Likewise, 2.42 lakh health workers, 2.17 lakh frontline workers, 13.86 lakh people aged above 45 years and 89,619 people in the 18-44 age groups have received both the doses. Chhattisgarh has a target of vaccinating 1,99,32,392 people, including 339,732 health workers, 293,040 frontline workers, 58,66,599 people aged above 45 years and 1,34,33,021 citizens in the 18-44 age group.
