As part of the ‘Road Safety Week’, a rally was taken out on Monday by NCC cadets here. On the occasion, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena appealed to the people to follow the traffic rules since, he said, they are made for the safety of the people. He also stressed for wearing the helmet as a safety measure while riding two-wheelers.
Meena said that one should not use mobile phones while driving as it is the second biggest reason for the case of rising number of accidents. ASP Navedita Paul appealed to people to provide extended cooperation to the police for keeping a check on rising number of accidents.
