Before laying 20-km-long rail line in Naya Raipur, four under-bridges, one over-bridge, and two subways will be constructed. Approval of all departments concerned has been taken. Preparations have started to lay rail lines in Naya Raipur. Now, under-bridge, over-bridge, and subways will be constructed there.
On the issue of construction of bridges, a meeting of officers of NRDA, Railway, Airports Authority of India, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Water Resources and other departments concerned was held. It was stated in the meeting that between the 20-km-long railway lines there would be five stations – four in Naya Raipur and one at Kendri.
It has been said that railway stations will be constructed at Mandir Hasaud, Udyog Nagar, CBD and near Purkhauti Muktangan in Naya Raipur. Construction of new stations would be done by NRDA, whereas, the old Kendri station by the Railways. Construction of four under-bridges, one over-bridge and two subways were discussed at the meeting. Construction of bridge over the canals was also considered in the meeting.
