Some naxalites, including women, surrendered before the superintendent of police of Malkangiri in the neighbouring Odisha State alleged that top Maoist leaders sexually exploit girls.
In a press meet held in the office of Malkangiri SP Akhileshwar Singh, women Maoist Gauri Mattam told the media about top Maoist leaders. She alleged that the Maoists kidnap the innocent village girls and after admitting in Dalams, exploitthem physically.
Among the surrendered naxalites, Mukka Madhkami, Gauri Mattam, Irmi Madhi, Moti Khilla, Shubham Khara alias Jayanti, Purnima Khara were active members of Kalimela area Dalam, whereas, Udabha Kantari, Bindu Khara, Kosa Madhkami, Budhu Hantal, Somda Bogdate and Mukka Madhkami were members of Militia. Cases like murder, loot and arson have already been registered against all of them.
