A 55-year-old Naxalite involved in the murder of villager was on Friday arrested in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district.
Bijapur Superintendent of Police Kamlochan Kashyap identified him as Kopa of the outlawed CPI-Maoist. He was involved in killing a villager in 2006.
An arrest warrant was pending against him.
He was arrested from the jungles of Munder and Toyenar by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and District Police.
