The 33rd National Sub-Junior Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship will be held in Bilaspur from November 4 to 5 this year.
According to the Organizing Secretary of the Meet, Rampuri Goswami, the inaugural ceremony is scheduled on November 5. A team of 24 players each will be representing various states. The age limit is from 5 to 12 years.
The prominent national players will be coming from Manipur, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. Notably, the Senior Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship was held at Chhattisgarh in 2010.
Goswami said the Chhattisgarh players are preparing for a better performance in the upcoming meet.
BJP leaders, Bilaspur Commissioner Sonmoni Borah and Chhattisgarh State Commission for Women member Harshita Pandey were invited for the inaugural ceremony.
