The National Deworming Day will be organized in Chhattisgarh from September 23 to 30 to feed deworming medicine to children in the age group of 1 to 19.
Mitanin and Anganwadi workers will visit households in the community and feed the deworming medicine (Albendazole).
Children aged 1 to 2 years will be fed half a crushed tablet, children aged 2 to 3 years one crushed tablet and those from age 3 to 19 years will be given tablets to chew.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the service will be provided in the containment zones only after the situation goes back to normal. In the buffer zone, the services will be provided while following the general guidelines.
