The grass-roots level poll campaign teams of  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  workers in Chhattisgarh aren’t finding it difficult to learn about party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi besides how he charted the path for Gujarat’s pace of development in the run up to the lok Sabha polls.

‘We got massive amount of literature printed in Gujarati translated into Hindi comprising stories on how Gujarat developed under Narendrabhai  besides also his own life sketch for various states including Chhattisgarh to know more about him,’ a top party source in BJP’s Gujarat State unit informed The Pioneer over phone from Ahmedabad.

He said that Gujarat which had become the focal point of attention in the run up to the lok Sabha polls in the country due to candidature of its Chief Minister Narendra Modi as BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, had generated a huge demand from party’s units in other states for  literature on Gujarat’s development and the Chief Minister himself in Hindi.

More and more state level leaders have been asking for Hindi language literature on Gujarat and Chief Minister Narendra Modi as it would be easy for them to tell people in their region easily about the party’s prime ministerial candidate in rural pockets of the country, the source informed.

A huge lot of literature on the Gujarat 's development is available in Gujarati language which is unique in nature with the kind of information the people in other parts of the country would not know at a time when Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the prime ministerial candidate of the party, he said.

The Gujarat unit of the party is co-operating in every way with other BJP units across the country to provide the kind of information they need on Gujarat and Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Party workers  visiting door to door in other states need to know why Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate during their poll campaigns. In rural areas, many people in other states may not know how Gujarat emerged as a developed state of the country and under whose leadership , he stated.

Meanwhile, in the Chhattisgarh unit of the party, huge emphasis is being paid on knowing about the Gujarat Chief Minister and his achievements for a clear and effective communication to the people for campaigns which are hinged on party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
