NaMo campaigns to get 'RSS booster' in State

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has stepped up its ‘behind the scene’ activity in Chhattisgarh to assist the BJP with lok Sabha poll campaigning in the State.

Top party sources here informed that the RSS would deploy thousands of its dedicated activists shortly across the 11 lok Sabha constituencies later this month to assist BJP ministerial candidate Narendra Modi mainly in targeted campaigns. The reason for the RSS eager to step in aggressively for campaigning is the fact that Modi belongs to the Sangh parivar.

Top State-level RSS Sarsanghchalaks in Chhattisgarh will be holding a three-day meeting at Vishrampur in Surguja division from March 21 to 23 to chalk out plans to assist the BJP workers with campaigns on Modi. The RSS would traditionally support any poll campaign by the BJP but this time with Modi being in stark picture as the party’s star candidate, the Sangh Parivar has geared up its entire machinery at the grass roots level to help with all national campaigns with a strong message ‘Modi as PM’, sources informed.

While it is apparent that the BJP in Chhattisgarh had been implementing the broad national campaigns on Modi across Assembly segments of lok Sabha constituencies, the RSS seems determined to get Modi to the Prime Minister’s seat, sources said.It was also learnt that teams from the Sangh Parivar’s Nagpur headquarters had been camping in Raipur for many days to observe and report to top leaders regarding the feedback on campaigns on ‘Modi as PM’.
