To make the people aware of various Government schemes, the Public Relations Department organised exhibitions and cultural programmes with help of Nacha troupes in villages of tribal dominated development blocks of the district. The exhibition and Nacha troupe show was organised in Kesekera, Akalwara, KhadmMudagaon and adjoining villages of Churra development block of the district.
A large number of people and their representatives from these villages attended the programmes. The artists of the Nacha troop presented various government schemes in local language in an interesting and attractive manner. The Government schemes publicised through the programme include Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Yojna, Mukhyamantri Bal Shravan Yojna, 108 Sanjeevani Express, paddy procurement at support price, Saraswati Cycle Yojna, agriculture loan on at the rate of one percent interest, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, Women Empowerment, free electricity connection for poor, 7500 units of free electricity per year to farmers, Atal Khetihar Mazdoor Beema Yojna, Mukhyamantri Swathya Beema Yojna, etc.
Poshan Sahu of Public Relations Department appealed to the people to avail the benefit of various Government schemes available at village and block level for a better life. The exhibitions and programmes by Nacha troupes are getting good response as a large number of people including elderly persons, women, children, peoples representatives etc are visiting regularly. Officials of Public Relations Department were present at the venue to further explain to people about the schemes.
