A team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru on Saturday visited BAlCO plant at Korba. BAlCO officials informed the team members about Aluminum production process through its different units, a Press release issued here stated.
The team members also observed teaching in different branches of Vedanta Il&FS Institute of Skills, where they discussed learning parts with the trainee students and trainers in an interactive session.
later, Balco’s community relations chief, BK Shrivastava updated NAAC team with the company’s technical development and community development works in a session held in the Expert Club. At the end, NAAC team looked as if quite impressed from its visit to BAlCO plant.
The team was comprised of former vice-chancellor of North Odisha University, Sudarsan Nanda, Social Science Department’s head of Baroda University, Pradeep Singh Chundawat, former principal of MKHS Gujarati College, Indore, Dr Ramesh Mangal, principal of Kamala Nehru College, Korba, RN Pandey, Social Science Department’s head of Minimata Girls College, Korba, Tara Sharma and Social Science Department’s head of KN College, Kamaljit Kaur.
