Registering their protest against mysterious death of more than a dozen cattle, residents of Patthalgaon staged a road blockade on National Highway 43 in the district.Normal life was affected as the entire Patthalgaon town went on the spontaneous road blockade to mourn the mysterious death of about a dozen cows and six goats at the bus stand.According to Tehsildar DR Dahire after the mysterious death of cattle, people were angry.
“Situation is under control. The angry residents have been pacified,” he said. According to sources, information about the death of a cow near SDM residence in Mandi premises was received on Monday night. Thereafter, on Tuesday morning, three more cattle were found dead at Mandi Parisar.After sometime, body of one more cattle was recovered from High School ground and soon information about recovery of carcasses of many more cattle from other places poured in and that ignited the public anger.
