A letter threatening to blow up the Patwari training centre of the district was received at the office of Collector Dr SK Alung.
“It seems as a mischief act”, SP SC Dwivedi remarked on Friday. The sender who claims himself as Anup Kumar Rathor, a Naxal leader of Chintagufa Sukma has demanded cancellation of Patwari selection exam, Dwivedi told The Pioneer. “It appears as mischief of some Patwari candidate who could not qualify the exam,” SP said adding the office of collector had received letter on January 1. The letter has claimed that non-qualified persons were selected in the exam and has raised demand for a repeat of it. The letter dating December 28, 2014 has stamp of Gole Bazaar post office Bilaspur, police said.
“A case in this connection has been registered and we have already started the investigation,” the SP mentioned.
