PWD Minister Rajesh Munat on Monday made a surprise inspection of a number of municipal wards in the city to take stock of ongoing developmental works.
During the inspection, the Minister gathered information related to progress of under construction site of fly-over to be constructed at the cost of Rs . 46.33 crore at Kashiram Nagar and directed the officials for completion of the work by end of this year.
He also visited site of under-pass route being developed at Bhatagaon Chowk-Rajendra Nagar access route at a cost of Rs . 33.75 crore and asked the officials to complete all works by 2018.Munat said that the construction of under-pass route and fly-over will de-congest traffic.
The Minister also visited the sites of over-pass being constructed at a cost of Rs . 22.44 crore at Kushalpur and fly-over construction site between Canal Road and Kamal Vihar at the cost of Rs . 35.38 crore respectively.
later, Munat inspected beautification works underway from Budhapara to Pachpedi Naka via Mahila Thana Chowk, road widening work from Baharat Mata Chowk to Kota-Gudhiyari route via Mohba Bazar, development works of Kota Stadium, construction of auditorium in Science College grounds etc.
During the visit, PWD OSD Anil Rai, Collector OP Chaudhary, PWD Chief Engineer DK Pradhan and others were present.
