Munat inspects civic status in colonies

Public Works, Housing, and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat on Friday visited Hanuman Nagar and Bheem Nagar localities in Ramkundpara in the city.

During the visit, he inspected sanitation works and drinking-water supply arrangements.On the request of residents, the Minister gave immediate approval for construction of public toilet in Ramkundpara.

Munat instructed Municipal Officials to expedite the ongoing construction of community hall in Ramkundpara.A sum of Rs 25 lakh have already been sanctioned from infrastructure fund for construction of this building. The Minister expressed dissatisfaction over slow pace of the construction work. Munat appealed residents of both the localities to help in maintaining hygienic surroundings.

He also inspected Dhobi Talab, where he was upset to see the heap of garbage and instructed the concerned Municipal Officials to conduct daily inspection sanitation and drinking-water arrangements in the wards.During the inspection visit, PWD Minister was accompanied by Municipal Corporation Chairman Prafulla Vishwakarma, local Corporator Ashish Agrawal, Municipal Commissioner Dr Saransh Mittar and other officials concerned.
