PWD, Housing, and Environment Minister Rajesh Munat on Wednesday conducted an inspection of various localities of Pandit Ishwari Charan Shukla Ward, including Kukurbeda, Dumartalab, Amanaka and others in Raipur.The Minister inspected sanitation arrangements, public facilities and interacted with residents of the localities.Munat made several announcements regarding systematic development of the city. He said that soon a garden will be developed near Amanaka over-bridge.
The Minister gave strict instructions to maintain cleanliness in each and every lane of the area, and also directed officials concerned to facilitate separate dustbins in each locality for proper disposal of garbage.Munat also directed the officials concerned to make all sorts of arrangements for water-exit so as to avoid water-logging during rains.During the visit, the Minister also gave instructions to constitute locality development committees for both Kukurbeda and Dumartalab which will monitor ongoing development works in respective areas.He also ordered immediate removal of encroachment on both sides of road below Amanaka over-bridge, and instructed officials to begin construction of garden there.
