Member of Parliament from Bastar Dinesh Kashyap inaugurated a new gym at Chikhalputi police line. At the inaugural function, Kashyap appreciated the efforts of the district police in opening the gym. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena, who was present on the occasion, said the gym has been opened for the cops as well as the common mass. He mentioned that the gym spread over 2,000 sft is equipped with advance machines for daily exercise. MlA Mohan Markam, ASP Nivedita Paul and eminent citizens were present at the inaugural function. MP Kashyap assured to raise the issue of overall development of the people in Surguja and Bastar tribal areas with the Central Government as wells as in the Parliament.
