Infertility hub of the Raipur-Pahlajani Test Tube Baby Center celebrated “Mothers Day’ with a surrogate mother by thanking her for helping complete the dreams of a childless couple who had no other option than the surrogacy.
A surrogate mother is a woman who bears a child for another person either through artificial insemination or by carrying another woman's surgically implanted fertilised egg until birth.
Dr Pahlajani encouraged the surrogate mother to come forward and extend her help to the infertile couple. Neha (name changed) is the first surrogate mother who has gathered the courage to come to the front and accept that she is doing the right job by means of surrogacy. “Instead of choosing the wrong way or illegal means to earn money, I selected surrogacy which is one of the best option to support my family. I will be happy if I manage to deliver happiness to a childless woman in form of a baby” said the surrogate mother.
Speaking on the occasion of Mothers' Day, Dr Neeraj Pahlajani, Infertility Specialist, Pahlajani Test Tube baby Center said ‘On Mother’s Day, we salute Neha for becoming surrogate mother and having courage to accept it publicly with a strong message that surrogacy is not at all incorrect means to support one’s family.
She is strong inspiration for the women of Chhattisgarh who belong to lower socio-economic background and want to earn for their family and experience heavenly feeling by providing bundle of joy to the infertile couple in form of a baby. We take proud that we are able to give another first to the state by bringing for the first time any surrogate mother publicly in Chhattisgarh, he said.
