The former principal of Government Polytechnic College is absconding after a woman professor raised allegations of molestation against him and filed complaint with Kotwali police station in capital city.
As per the incident, in Byron Bazar based Government Polytechnic College former principal had been reported to have been molesting a woman professor for long period as per the complaint.
The allegations have been raised against A K Khairwar. As per the allegation, the former Principal used to show her obscene photographs and others after which he used to misbehave with her.
This continued for long. Finally, the woman unable to bear it registered the complaint with ‘Vishaka Committee’ of the college.
The committee conducted probe and found the charges to be true.
The matter was then reported to Kotwali police station. Based on the complaint, police then conducted raids in different places in search of the ex-principal. But he was found to be absconding.
