Talking to reporters here on Friday, he said that the Ram Mandir issue is pending in the court and no government (even Modi) can construct temple unless court gives permission. “But Modi can help in removing hurdles in the way of construction of the temple,” the Shankaracharya said .He said that Modi should also lift Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir and bring a uniform civil code in the country.
Expressing dissatisfaction over steps taken for cleaning of Ganga, the Shankaracharya demanded that all the proposed dams in the rivers should be cancelled to maintain it flow.On a question regarding ‘love Jehad’, Swamiji alleged that it is a conspiracy to damage the Hindu society.
“Youths should understand the motive behind ‘love Jehad’and follow the advice of their parents instead of turning rebel for love. We are also preparing ‘Hindraj Sena’ to deal with such issues,” said Swamiji.
He appealed to the people not to include Shirdi Sai Baba statue in the Dussehra, Navratri and Durga puja as the entire puja will be ruined. People should discard the Sai Palki taken out on Dussehra, the Shankaracharya said.He however maintained that he was not forcing people for anything.
The Shankarachaya said that the responsibility of religious leaders is to warn people of deformity and division in the Hindu society and all the leaders unanimously took decision in Kawardha Dharma Sansad, he said
