Modi govt adapts step-motherly attitude towards C’garh: Congress

Published on:

The Congress alleged on Wednesday that the Modi government was adapting a step motherly attitude towards Chhattisgarh and not                 allocating funds for the Ayushman Healthcare Scheme.

Patients in Chhattisgarh were facing difficulties in treatments due to non-payment of the Central share to the Ayushman Scheme, said PCC chief Mohan Markam.

Markam also alleged that BJP leaders in Chhattisgarh have become deaf and dumb and were trying to take    political mileage by putting the state government in             difficulty.

The Congress leader also cited the non-payment of GST compensation, coal royalty compensation, payment of employees’ New Pension Scheme (NPS) collection and share in MNREGA.

All these prove that the Center was adapting step motherly attitude towards Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh, he said.
