Chhattisgarh BJP has released a list of its star campaigners who would be canvassing for the party in the state.
Among the 40 names, the party announced on Tuesday, include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah, Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Arun Jaitely, Sushma Swaraj, UP Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, BJP national vice president and former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jharkhand CM Raghuvar Das among others.
BJP sources said Modi will address three public meetings in the state so also Amit Shah.
The programmes of other star campaigners will be announced as per their schedule of arrival.
The state-based start campaigners of the party are its national vice president Raman Singh, Leader of the Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik, BJP state president Vikram Usendi. They have already started poll campaign in the state, said party sources.
