To give a clearer idea of the scheme to its beneficiaries, a model room will be constructed on Kamal Vihar premises.
“Process and levels of construction, map, facilities at scheme and sector-level, on campus infrastructure, and technical details related to construction works will be displayed in the model room,” said Chief Executive Officer of the Raipur Development Authority (RDA) Amit Kataria.
He said that nearly 50 per cent of the infrastructure development works have been completed and added that work of Sector 6 and Ring Road will begin by March end. Chief engineer of the RDA JS Bhatia said around 70 per cent of water supply works have been completed.
Kataria informed that during several departmental meetings, Chief Minister Raman Singh has instructed the officials to ensure quality in the on-going development projects. Singh said that the infrastructure of the Kamal Vihar scheme is being developed by world-renowned firm larsen & Toubro and engineers in the State must see it as a model project, Kataria said.
