The benefits of Mobile Medical Unit services would now be extended also to students residing in Ashram hostels of the district.
A decision to this effect was taken at the General Body Meeting of the Narayanpur District Panchayat here on Monday, an official statement said here. It was also informed in the meeting that the Generic medicines from the medical stores of Indian Red Cross Society would be sold at a discount at the District Hospital premises. This apart, the vacant posts of Panchayat category teachers would be filled up soon in the district by offering them promotions.
