The Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana is becoming popular in Chhattisgarh for doorstep delivery of essential government services. The government has decided to extend the service from 13 to 100.
It has also been decided that the scheme would be extended to all the urban units instead of just 14 Municipal Corporation regions.
At present, the 13 types of services being provided include domicile, caste and income certificates, copies of documents, digitized land records, death, marriage registration, shop or organization and birth certificates, rectifications in birth and death certificate.
The Mitans have so far delivered more than 14,000 documents to the homes of citizens.
The scheme started on May 1, 2022.
