If anyone is opting to buy a piece of land or an independent house through builders in residential colonies, the information related to a particular land or house would be made available through ‘Management Information System (MIS) by the Raipur District Administration.
The MIS has been developed under the supervision of the District Administration to disseminate on-line information related to the lists of legitimate builder, colony, Collectorate rates of land of particular localities etc. so that people may not face trouble in knowing legality of the particular property from the office of Raipur Municipal Corporation or Town and Country Planning Department in the city.
The contract for preparing on-line data of builders and colonies would be allocated through CSR and DMF funds whereas the information on builders and colonies would be uploaded on a web portal by collecting all data of the builders and colony based on information available with Raipur Municipal Corporation, Town and Country Planning Department and District Registrar’s office respectively. The on-line information would be updated continuously too.
Also, the builders and colonies which have been black listed by the RMC would also be available for the residents of the city while those who want to sell their properties may verify the rates of their respective properties as per the rates fixed under the guidelines of the Raipur District Collectorate.
The web portal will have details of only such properties which have been registered and is with records of District Administration, Raipur Municipal Corporation, Town and Country Planning Department and District Registrar’s Office.
This apart, the web portal will keep records of contractors, builders, real estate developers, engineers registered for making sketches of diverted properties so that people would not get cheated and they will be able to invest in legal properties.
Talking to The Pioneer ,Raipur District Collector OP Chaudhary said that the on-line information would be available related to legitimate builders, real estate promoters and developers of private colonies so that people are able to invest their hard earned money in legal properties. The web portal would be developed within next few months.
