Rampati Paikara, elder brother of State Home Minister Ramsevak Paikara died in a road accident in Bhatgaon area of Surajpur district, police informed on Saturday. Chief Minister Raman Singh has expressed deep condolence toward the family of Home Minister.
Rampati Paikara was employee of South East Coal Fields limited (SECl) and was on way to home after completing duty, Superintendent of Police Surajpur Prakhar Pandey informed.
“After completing work he had reached near Mahamaya temple on bike when suddenly the bike slipped and Rampati Paikara hit ground resulting serious head injury. The intensity of collision was so severe that Rampati died on the spot. He was rushed to local hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” the SP said.
After the incident Home Minster has reached Bhatgaon. Chief Minister Raman Singh made a call to Home Minister and expressed condolence.
