Women and Child Development Development Minister Ramsheela Sahu on Tuesday presided over a meeting of the governing body and general meeting of the Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh at the Mantralaya here.
The meeting passed a resolution reducing the loan interest rates on various schemes from the current six-and-half per cent loan interest rate to five per cent.
Several important decisions were taken to encourage hard-working self-help groups. The ceiling was increased from the present Rs 70,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
