nPatting doctors for giving their best to Chandigarh amid Covid-19, Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo on Friday discussed shortage of medical equipment at district hospitals and ways to sort them out.
To make sure that during the ongoing pandemic other health facilities also function properly, Singh Deo held a review meeting of the Health Department at his official residence here.
“Doctors are among the top talented individuals of our society. With your devotion and dedication, Chhattisgarh has been able to perform well in these difficult times,” an official statement quoted him as saying.
The Minister told health officials to give priority to cleanliness. He also discussed the equipment shortage at district level hospitals and how to overcome them.
A discussion was also held over medicine purchases, quality control and the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the press release added.
While reviewing emergency services like 102, 108 and 112, the Minister went through their data of last month and told officials to identify the blackspots and hotspots.
“These services are very essential for our society. We have to work together so that people may get a better service,” he said.
