Chhattisgarh Environment Minister Mohammad Akbar on Friday launched Captain Cool App -- which helps people to embrace a lifestyle with lesser carbon emitting devices.
The App has been prepared by students of Nature Body Eco Club under the guidance of their mentor Panu Haldar. The App has two functions: it calculates carbon emission by household electric and electronic devices and appliances like television, refrigerator and laptops. This will make people go less for devices which emit high carbon.
The second function is carbon emission reducer -- to guide the citizens to use appliances and devices which emit less carbon.
