Agriculture and labour minister and incharge of Korba district Chandrashekhar Sahu graced various programmes with his presence in Katghora, Binjhra , Jatga and pali villages during his vikas yatra to korba district yesterday,meanwhile he dedicated various developmental works to the tune of Rsone crore 85 lakhs and performed bhumi pujan .
During vikas yatra agriculture and labour minister Sahu allocated sewing machines to all 112 women labour registered under labour department and allocated bicycles to 80 women labour in Binjhara, Jatga and Pali. Besides he allocated diesel pump, maze seeds, vegetable mini kits, fish nets to fishermen and domicile certificates, Sangi cards to students.
In Katghora nagar panchayat Sahu dedicated Anganbadi, laboratory, stage and additional class rooms in school to the people. performed bhumi pujan for various development works such as boundary wall, metal road, hand pump, culvert and pipeline extension work in Katghora. In village Binjhra in charge minister Sahu dedicated developmental works to the tune of Rs45 lakhs and layed down the foundation stones for various works worth Rs24 lakhs. He dedicated many development works in villages Jatga, Uproda and Podi worth Rs38 lakhs 30 thousands. Besides performed bhumi pujan for various works in these villages to the tune of Rs8 lakhs 38 thousands.
During vikas yatra in village pali he initiated a pond beautification work with worth Rs68 lakhs , 62 thousand under Sarovar-Dhrohar project , in a function organized over there. He inaugurated here a sub registrar office also. large number of villagers and peoples' representatives throng in to his functions held during Vikas Yatra.
