In order to manage the traffic problems of the city, the traffic managing team should conduct regular inspectional visits and assure the smooth functioning, said the Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal.
He was addressing the review meeting of the developmental tasks of the city. He said that the administration needs to do these things on a very serious basis so that people can avail the benefit of it as soon as possible.
He also instructed to focus specially on the time limit of the works. He said that we need to have a proper traffic plan in order to maintain the traffic problems of the city.
He instructed for the construction of overbridges, roads and providing other facilities to the people. Similarly, the works related to sewerage were also reviewed and examined. A discussion on plying city buses, the implementation of the ISDP scheme were all discussed.
It was decided that the next review meeting will be focused on development of Achanakmar Tiger reserve, Smart city and Arpa Development Plan. The meeting was also attended by the Divisional Commissioner Sonmoni Borah, Collector Ambalangan P. and other high officials of the city.
